In 2024, Yellow Brick House received the Home Depot Community Developments Grant to create an outdoor space for the youth at our Markham Shelter. Home Depot also generously sent a team of volunteers to support the installation. This project has provided a much-needed space for youth, contributing to their well-being and development. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Home Depot for their generous grant and the hands-on support from their volunteers. Their commitment to community development truly enhances the lives of the families we assist.

OpenText has shown remarkable generosity and support for Yellow Brick House throughout 2024. Their financial contributions have supported various initiatives, including the International Women’s Day Gift Packing for women we serve and our Nights of Safety program for women and children in need. OpenText also funded and organized teams of volunteers for spring cleanups at our two shelters, beautifying the outdoor spaces. We are incredibly grateful for OpenText’s dedication to our cause and its significant impact on the lives of those we serve.

Bimbo Canada has been a consistent supporter of Yellow Brick House, contributing both financially and through product sponsorship for our events. Their generosity extended to sponsoring facility upgrades, with teams of volunteers assisting in the installations. In 2023, Bimbo Canada sponsored and installed a storage shed for our Markham Shelter. In 2024, they sponsored and installed a gazebo, shed, and sandbox at our Aurora Shelter. Their support extended to providing valuable assistance in our shelter’s renovation projects, as well as gift cards and in-kind gifts for the women and children we serve.
